Following the main conference, this exclusive forum will provide an opportunity to reflect on key outcomes, examine their implications for NATO’s strategic and operational requirements, and explore practical opportunities for continued collaboration among Allies, partners, and industry. Hosted at the Van Ghent Barracks, the Focus Day will enable deeper dialogue in a smaller setting, allowing participants to address complex challenges and share insights from current conflicts and operational experiences.

Critical Infrastructure Resilience
Exploring the importance of protecting and strengthening the infrastructure required to support NATO operations and societal resilience. The discussion will examine the increasing interdependence between military capabilities, civilian authorities, and private-sector stakeholders, and how Allies can enhance preparedness, resilience, and continuity in an increasingly contested environment.
Deterrence Campaign Planning
Examining how NATO can integrate activities across the physical, virtual, and cognitive dimensions to shape the security environment, influence adversary decision-making, reinforce Alliance cohesion, and prevent escalation. The session will explore how military and non-military instruments of power can be synchronized to support deterrence and defence objectives across the competition continuum.
Lessons from Current Conflicts
Discussing operational insights and emerging lessons from ongoing conflicts, with a focus on their implications for NATO’s command and control, force readiness, adaptation, and future operational concepts. The session will explore how NATO can accelerate learning, translate observations into actionable change, and maintain a decisive advantage in future conflicts.
