Bram Alkema is the initiator of the Deeptech Defence Alliance, organiser of the European Defence Innovation Forum, and business developer at DeltaQuad, a Dutch manufacturer of fixed-wing VTOL drones that operate at the front in Ukraine. Drawing on a background in economics, technology and ecosystem building, Bram works at the intersection of defence innovation, industrial policy and scalable manufacturing.

He focuses on building industry-led defence ecosystems in which autonomous systems, software, and production capacity are developed as shared capabilities rather than isolated projects. Through the Alliance, EDIF and his work at DeltaQuad, he helps governments and companies move from pilots and one-off tenders to long-term, exportable capabilities with robust supply chains, nearshored production and operational feedback directly from the battlefield.
