Paolo obtained a Google Project Management Specialization from Coursera, which demonstrates his proficiency in planning, executing, and closing projects using agile methodologies and tools.

Paolo has over 26 years of experience as a Navy Officer and has been serving on board Destroyers, Frigates, Offshore Patrol Vessels and Minehunters, in different roles, such as Electronic Warfare Officer, Mine Hunter Officer, Executive Officer and Commanding Officer. He worked as Force Planner at the Italian Navy General Staff and was appointed to important international positions, both in NATO and EU environment. Thanks to these experiences, Paolo developed strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a deep understanding of the security and defense sector. He has worked extensively in multinational and multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and trust among diverse stakeholders.

Paolo is passionate about learning new cultures and languages, and has dual citizenship: Italian and New Zealand. He is fluent in English and Italian, proficient in French, and learning German.
