Sebastiaan van ’t Erve is a visionary public‑sector leader with more than 20 years of senior‑level experience in governance, cybersecurity and crisis management.
As Mayor of Lochem he directed municipal public‑safety and led the crisis response to a sophisticated Advanced Persistent Threat attack. He served as the trusted advisor on Digital Security for national bodies such as the Association of Municipalities (VNG) and the Association of Mayors (NGB). Within the ENISA Advisory Group he initiated an unanimously supported opinion paper on the European handling of vulnerabilities. He also completed the Foreign Relations course at the Clingendael Institute in The Hague.
