Chief Warrant Officer Zoltán Kaszab is the eighth Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL) for Allied Command Operations (ACO) at NATO's Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE). He serves as the Supreme Allied Commander Europe's (SACEUR) principal advisor on matters affecting troops throughout the Alliance. Additionally, he provides the ACO Commands and SHAPE staff with professional development opportunities, recommendations, and engagement, as well as mentorship to the Alliance's non-commissioned and junior officers. As CSEL, he ensures the NATO NCO Bi-Strategic Command Strategy and Guidelines are in harmony with the SACEUR's command priorities; scrutinizes existing policies, procedures, and responsibilities for all operational organizations within ACO. In collaboration with Allied Command Transformation and the NATO CSEL community he ensures Allied educational institution’s courses are current, relevant, and available to service members.

Chief Warrant Officer Kaszab joined the Hungarian Defense Forces in February 1991 as a drafted soldier to the then 34th Bercsenyi Miklos Long Range Reconnaissance Battalion (LRRS). Following his obligatory 12-month service, he enlisted at the same unit and filled various positions, including roles in the LRRS Communication training company, as LRRS Deputy Team Commander, and later as Team Commander. Upon his transition from LRRS to Special Forces, CWO Kaszab completed the Hungarian Special Forces Qualification Course and subsequently served as SOF Company First Sergeant, SOF Battalion Sergeant Major, SOF Regiment Sergeant Major and Sergeant Major of the Hungarian Special Operation Command. In 2021, CWO Kaszab was selected as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader position where he tenured until 15 August 2025.

CWO Kaszab holds a bachelor’s degree in Adult Education and a master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Counseling. CWO Kaszab has been deployed to Iraq and twice to Afghanistan. Additionally, CWO Kaszab completed two tours at JFC Naples.
