Max van Rijn MA holds a BA degree in War Sciences from the Royal Netherlands Military Academy and an MA in International Relations – International Security from the University of Groningen, both with a specialization in Military Communications and a BEd in Learning and Development. He left the Netherlands Air Force as a lieutenant to rejoin the armed forces as a civilian. He currently serves as Public Information and Public Affairs Officer at the NATO Command and Control Centre of Excellence in Utrecht, Netherlands.
