Patti Morrissey, founder and CEO of Global Futures Strategies, is a strategic planning and foresight analysis professional with deep expertise in international security policy and strategy. Patti has worked for the national security community in the United States for 35 years and is highly skilled in building interagency and foreign partner teams to address the global challenges of information operations, terrorism and insurgency, great power competition, weapons of mass destruction, and the security impacts of advanced technologies. Patti managed an international foresight program for the U.S. intelligence community and 23 partner nations for three years, and was on the U.S. interagency team that led the Global Coalition to Counter ISIS for 2 ½ years. In both capacities she worked with foreign partners and subject-matter experts from around the globe to address critical international security challenges.

Patti and her company are working with Ukraine’s National Institute for Strategic Studies to develop a foresight-driven strategic planning process that will provide a platform for Ukraine’s partners to participate in the development of a comprehensive, unified strategy for countering Russia’s multi-domain, hybrid war of aggression against the West.

Patti has graduate degrees in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins, International Affairs from The American University, and an undergraduate degree from Cornell University.
