How can you create and maintain a psychological climate within your unit where subordinates feel free to express their ideas, concerns and criticisms, thereby making optimal use of their expertise and experience? Psychological safety enables personnel to speak up with ideas, provide constructive feedback, express concerns, and feel a sense of belonging within the unit. This not only creates a more positive working environment, but also fosters innovation, enhances learning (including from mistakes), and improves overall performance. This workshop is designed to strengthen psychological safety with the aim of creating a pleasant, efficient, and effective learning and working climate - one that supports both operational excellence and innovation.
